The Radiolink AT9S Pro is a professional-grade 2.4GHz 12-channel RC transmitter built for serious pilots and hobbyists operating fixed-wing aircraft, multi-rotor drones, helicopters, and RC cars. It ships bundled with the Radiolink R9DS receiver and supports DSSS, FHSS, and CRSF signal modulation for strong interference resistance across a control range of up to 4 kilometres. Mode 1 vs Mode 2 refers to throttle stick position only — all other features are identical across variants. If you are accustomed to a specific mode from another transmitter, select accordingly. Mode 2 is the most common convention in North America and Europe.
Not Best For: Beginners with no prior RC experience who require a simpler, pre-bound, plug-and-fly system — the AT9S Pro is a feature-rich programmable transmitter that benefits from familiarity with RC concepts such as channel mapping, endpoint adjustment, and failsafe configuration. If you learned on a specific mode, select accordingly — changing modes after learning is possible but requires a transition period.
Q: Does this transmitter work with non-Radiolink receivers? A: The AT9S Pro uses Radiolink’s proprietary 2.4GHz protocol for its standard DSSS/FHSS operation. It is compatible with Radiolink receivers (R12DSM, R12DS, R9DS). CRSF support allows use with compatible ExpressLRS or Crossfire modules if CRSF connectivity is required. It is not natively compatible with Futaba FASST, Spektrum DSM2/DSMX, FrSky, or other proprietary protocols without an additional module.
