Clean the dent area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before starting. Select the tab shape that best matches the dent profile — smaller tabs for tight pits, larger tabs for broader dents. Apply hot glue to the tab and press firmly into the centre of the dent. Allow 3–5 minutes for the glue to set — it should be firm but slightly tacky. Attach the mechanical puller to the tab and apply steady, even pressure until the dent releases. Use a plastic scraper and alcohol to remove any remaining glue residue. For deep dents, multiple pulls from the centre outward may be needed. Work slowly — patience produces better results than force.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need the glue gun or can I use my own? If you already own a standard hot glue gun, the Base Puller Kit is all you need. The Complete configurations include a glue gun and sticks for those starting from scratch. Any standard hot glue gun works with the included tabs.
Will this work on all dents? This kit is designed for minor to moderate dents — hail damage, door dings, and small panel dents where the paint is intact. It is not suitable for sharp creases, dents near edges, or damage where the paint has cracked or chipped.
Is it safe for all paint types? Yes — the paintless method does not involve sanding, heat, or chemicals that affect the paint surface. The glue tabs attach to the paint surface temporarily and release cleanly with alcohol.
What’s the difference between US and EU plug? The glue gun included in the Complete kits is the same — only the plug type differs. US Plug is for North American outlets (Type A/B, 110–120V). EU Plug is for European outlets (Type C/E/F, 220–240V). Choose based on your location.
