2-Year Jewelry Protection Plan

The Très Elite Jewelry Protection Plan provides limited repair or replacement support for eligible jewelry when the plan is specifically offered, purchased, and shown in the order confirmation. Coverage is subject to inspection, verification, exclusions, service availability, and the complete plan terms.

The protection plan is optional and separate from any product warranty, return policy, insurance policy, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

When the Plan Applies

Coverage applies only to an eligible jewelry item connected to a purchased and confirmed protection plan.

Eligible Purchase

  • The plan was offered for the specific jewelry item
  • The plan was purchased before or with the item
  • The plan appears in the order or written confirmation
  • The claim is submitted within the coverage period

Eligible Customer

  • The claimant is the original purchaser or approved recipient
  • The order number and purchase information can be verified
  • The product is available for inspection when requested
  • The customer follows the claim and shipping instructions

The plan is recorded electronically. A separate physical plan document may not be included with the jewelry. Retain your order confirmation and protection-plan purchase record.

2

Potentially Covered Services

Coverage depends on the cause, condition, repairability, and specific plan confirmation.

Setting-Related Stone Loss

Replacement or repair may be considered when a diamond or gemstone is lost because of a verified covered failure in the original setting.

Selected Wear-Related Repairs

Eligible services may include prong repair, chain or link repair, clasp repair, band repair, or earring-post repair when the condition falls within the plan.

Structural or Manufacturing Issues

A verified covered defect affecting the structure or normal function of the jewelry may qualify for repair or another approved remedy.

Cosmetic scratching, tarnish, plating wear, colour change, minor dents, and other appearance changes are not automatically covered merely because they occurred during ordinary use.

3

What Is Generally Not Covered

The plan is not a substitute for loss, theft, travel, or personal-property insurance.

Loss, Theft & Unexplained Disappearance

  • Loss of the complete jewelry item
  • Theft or suspected theft
  • Misplacement or unexplained disappearance
  • Stone loss where the original setting cannot be inspected

Misuse, Exposure & External Damage

  • Impact, crushing, cutting, or intentional damage
  • Improper sizing, alteration, or unauthorized repair
  • Chemical, cosmetic, moisture, heat, or environmental damage
  • Improper cleaning, storage, maintenance, or use

Cosmetic or Expected Changes

  • Surface scratches that do not affect function
  • Tarnish, oxidation, patina, or plating wear
  • Natural variation in stones or materials
  • Normal aging that does not require structural repair

Other Exclusions

  • Counterfeit, substituted, or materially altered products
  • Damage existing before the plan began
  • Claims submitted after the coverage period
  • Costs not expressly approved before service
4

Jewelry Care Responsibilities

Reasonable care helps preserve the jewelry and plan eligibility.

Use & Storage

  • Use jewelry only for its intended purpose
  • Store pieces separately in a dry, protected location
  • Avoid unnecessary impact, pressure, pulling, or bending
  • Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, sports, or heavy work

Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Follow material-specific care instructions
  • Avoid harsh chemicals and unsuitable cleaning methods
  • Check clasps, prongs, links, and settings regularly
  • Stop wearing the item if a component becomes loose or damaged

Continuing to wear visibly damaged jewelry may worsen the condition and affect claim eligibility.

5

How to Submit a Claim

Do not arrange repairs or return the jewelry before receiving written instructions.

1

Stop Using the Jewelry

Preserve the item and any loose stones, links, clasps, or components.

2

Gather Your Information

Provide the order number, item name, protection-plan confirmation, date the issue was discovered, and a clear description of what occurred.

3

Photograph the Condition

Include clear images of the entire item, affected area, setting, clasp or damaged component, and any loose pieces.

4

Submit One Complete Claim

Use the official contact form and select the most relevant order or warranty inquiry option.

5

Follow the Inspection Instructions

If physical inspection is required, use the approved packaging, shipping method, address, and reference number.

6

Inspection & Claim Review

A claim is not approved until the jewelry and circumstances have been assessed.

Review May Include

  • Order and plan verification
  • Photographic and written evidence
  • Physical inspection by an approved provider
  • Repairability, parts, and service availability
  • Evidence of alteration, impact, misuse, or prior repair

Additional Information

We may request clearer photographs, the original item, additional purchase information, a repair estimate, or other details reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

Do not send jewelry without written authorization. Unapproved shipments may be refused, delayed, or returned at the sender’s expense.

7

Available Remedies

The approved remedy depends on the claim, repairability, availability, and plan limit.

Repair

An approved repair may be performed using suitable parts and methods determined by the service provider.

Replacement

When repair is unavailable or impractical, an eligible replacement may be offered subject to product and stock availability.

Store Credit

When neither repair nor a suitable replacement is available, store credit may be considered up to the applicable plan limit and under the terms stated in the written claim decision.

The plan does not guarantee a particular remedy. Any repair, replacement, reimbursement, or credit will not exceed the applicable coverage limit, which is generally based on the verified amount paid for the covered jewelry item unless the plan confirmation states otherwise.

8

Shipping & Service Costs

Shipping is not universally free under every claim.

Approved Shipping

Très Elite may provide a label, reimbursement limit, or specific shipping instructions for an approved inspection or service request.

Unapproved Costs

Expedited shipping, insurance, appraisal, unauthorized repair, customs, taxes, packaging, or other costs are not covered unless approved in writing before they are incurred.

The customer remains responsible for securely packaging the jewelry and following all claim-shipping instructions.

9

Plan Limits & Important Conditions

Review these conditions before relying on the plan.

  • Coverage applies only during the confirmed two-year period
  • The plan covers only the jewelry item identified in the order
  • Coverage cannot automatically be transferred to another item
  • Replacement jewelry may not renew or restart the original term
  • Total approved benefits may not exceed the applicable plan limit
  • Unauthorized alteration or repair may void affected coverage
  • Parts, stones, finishes, and exact replacements may be unavailable
  • Reasonable material, shade, finish, or construction variation may occur

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the jewelry protection plan.

Is this plan automatically included with every jewelry order?

No. It applies only when the plan is specifically offered, purchased, and confirmed for the eligible item.

Does the plan cover theft or losing the entire item?

No. The plan is not personal-property, travel, or theft insurance.

Is every missing stone covered?

No. Coverage may apply only when inspection confirms that the stone loss resulted from a covered failure of the original setting.

Are scratches and plating wear covered?

Not automatically. Cosmetic changes and expected surface wear are generally excluded unless the specific plan confirmation expressly states otherwise.

Can I use my own jeweler?

Only with advance written approval. Unauthorized repair or alteration may affect eligibility and will not automatically be reimbursed.

Will I always receive the original retail value as credit?

No. Any approved credit is subject to the claim decision and applicable plan limit, generally based on the verified amount paid unless the plan confirmation states otherwise.
