• Mild detergent only — avoid bleach, which can yellow white polyester-cotton and weaken the ruffle threads over time
• Hang to dry — do not tumble dry; the ruffled edge recovers naturally when hung and does not require pressing
• Iron on low heat on the reverse side if needed; use a pressing cloth over the ruffled border to protect the gathered detail
• Store loosely folded — avoid compressing the ruffled border, which can flatten the gathered edge permanently
