Description
The Oldest Material, Woven Into the Most Considered Spaces
Bamboo has been woven by hand for thousands of years — not because it was the only option, but because the result is something that no machine has yet replicated: a surface with variation, warmth, and the quiet authority of craft. The Hand-Woven Bamboo Curtain Hanging Decoration arrives as a set of 10 individual panels, each approximately 1.8–2 metres in drop, designed to be hung from a rod, rail, or branch using the integrated 4.5 cm ring. Use them as a room divider, a backdrop for a reading corner, a display surface for children’s artwork, a partition in a studio or music room, or simply as a wall installation that brings texture and natural material into a space that needs both.
Why These Panels
- Hand-woven bamboo — each panel is woven individually; the variation in weave tension and bamboo grain between panels is a characteristic of the material and the process, not a defect
- Set of 10 — enough to create a full room partition, a layered wall installation, or a generous display surface without ordering multiple sets
- 1.8–2 m drop — floor-grazing length that works in standard ceiling heights; the panels can be trimmed at the base if a shorter drop is preferred
- 4.5 cm ring diameter — fits standard curtain rods, tension rods, wooden dowels, and branches; no additional hardware required
- Versatile application — kindergartens, farmhouse interiors, music rooms, art studios, boho living rooms, Japandi bedrooms, and outdoor covered spaces

Care & Maintenance
Dust with a dry cloth or soft brush. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a lightly damp cloth and allow to dry completely in a well-ventilated space before rehanging — do not saturate the bamboo, as prolonged moisture can cause warping or mould in the weave. Avoid placement in direct prolonged sunlight, which will bleach the natural bamboo colour over time. If the panels are used outdoors in a covered space, bring them inside during wet weather. The natural bamboo will deepen slightly in colour with age — this is a characteristic of the material and contributes to the patina of the piece.
Styling Tips
For a room divider, hang all 10 panels at equal spacing on a tension rod or wooden dowel — a 2 m rod will accommodate the full set with a natural, slightly overlapping drape. For a wall installation, stagger the panels at different heights and allow them to overlap slightly, creating a layered, textural surface that reads as a single composition. In a kindergarten or studio, clip children’s artwork directly to the weave using small wooden pegs — the bamboo grid provides a natural display surface that requires no additional pinboard or frame. In a Japandi or wabi-sabi interior, pair with raw linen, aged timber, and ceramic vessels; in a farmhouse or boho scheme, combine with macramé, dried botanicals, and terracotta. For outdoor covered spaces, hang from a pergola beam or garden arch to create a natural screen that filters light and wind without blocking either entirely.
