South Korea Public Holidays
Korean Fulfilment & Dispatch Planning
South Korea Public Holidays — 2026
Orders prepared by Korean suppliers, workshops, warehouses, postal operators, or fulfilment partners may experience reduced staffing, processing pauses, or later dispatch around national holidays. Seollal and Chuseok generally create the most significant operational slowdowns.

How Holidays May Affect an Order
A public holiday can affect more than the dispatch date alone.
Before the Holiday
- Earlier supplier or warehouse cut-off times
- Higher parcel volume and carrier congestion
- Reduced production or inspection capacity
- Limited availability for urgent order changes
After the Holiday
- Backlogged messages, orders, and carrier collections
- Delayed first tracking scan
- Temporary inventory or production updates
- Additional time before normal service resumes
For date-sensitive purchases, place the order well before Seollal or Chuseok. Express shipping shortens eligible carrier transit only and does not remove holiday closures, production time, sourcing time, or warehouse backlogs.
Important Operating Note
Public-holiday status does not create one universal closure schedule for every Korean partner.
Individual suppliers, factories, workshops, warehouses, government offices, banks, postal operators, and private couriers may observe different closure dates or reduced hours. Some facilities may close for additional days around Seollal and Chuseok, while selected logistics operations may continue on a limited schedule.
Product-specific processing estimates and written supplier notices take priority when they provide a longer holiday closure or reopening schedule.
