This basket is installed inside an existing overhead cabinet. You must measure your cabinet's internal width, height, and depth before selecting a size. Nine width variants means it fits standard cabinet configurations without modification: From 500mm to 900mm in 50mm increments, the range covers the most common overhead cabinet widths in modern kitchens.
The retracted position is completely concealed: When not in use, the basket sits flush inside the closed cabinet. There is no visible hardware, no protruding mechanism, and no impact on the kitchen's visual cleanliness.
Installation & Maintenance
Installation: Professional installation is recommended. The motor unit mounts to the internal ceiling of the overhead cabinet. An electrical connection is required — a qualified electrician should handle the wiring if you are not experienced with electrical work.
Pre-installation check: Verify internal cabinet width, height (minimum 700mm), and depth (minimum 300mm) before installation. Confirm the cabinet ceiling can support the motor unit weight.
Cleaning: Wipe the aluminium basket with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool which will scratch the anodised finish. Dry after cleaning to prevent water marks.
What to avoid: Do not overload the basket beyond its rated capacity. Do not operate the lift with the cabinet door closed if the basket protrudes below the door line. Do not use in environments with excessive steam directly above the unit.
Periodic checks: Check the motor mounting screws and basket connection points every 6 months. Lubricate the lift rail with a dry lubricant spray annually for smooth operation.

Q: How do I know which size to order? A: Measure the internal width of your overhead cabinet. Select the variant that matches your cabinet's nominal width (e.g. if your cabinet is 600mm wide internally, select the 600 cabinet variant). Also confirm your cabinet has at least 700mm internal height and 300mm internal depth. See the Size Guide for full requirements.
Q: Does this require an electrician to install? A: The motor unit requires an electrical connection. If you are not experienced with electrical wiring, a qualified electrician should handle the connection. The mechanical installation (mounting the unit inside the cabinet) can be completed by a competent DIYer with basic tools.
Q: Will it fit a cabinet with existing shelves? A: No. The lift basket occupies the full internal height of the cabinet. Any existing fixed shelving must be removed before installation.
Q: What is the weight capacity? A: Contact us for the rated load capacity of your specific variant. As a general guide, the double-layer basket is designed for spices, condiments, bottles, and jars — not heavy cookware.
Q: Can it be installed in a base cabinet instead of an overhead cabinet? A: No. This is specifically designed as an overhead hanging cabinet basket. The lift mechanism descends downward from the cabinet ceiling. It is not suitable for base cabinet installation.
Q: Is professional installation required? A: Professional installation is strongly recommended, particularly for the electrical connection. Incorrect installation may void any warranty and could create a safety hazard.
