Does UPF 50+ mean I don’t need sunscreen? UPF 50+ fabric blocks over 98% of UV radiation on the covered area. For exposed skin (face, neck, hands), sunscreen is still recommended. These sleeves significantly reduce the surface area requiring sunscreen reapplication.
Will these fit larger shoulders? The shoulder measurement is 38 cm (15") and the elastic construction stretches to accommodate a range of body types. If you have broader shoulders, the fabric will stretch to fit — the sleeve is designed to be snug but not restrictive.
