The Lantingjiyu Snowflake Chiffon Tablecloth is not a tablecloth in the conventional sense. It is a length of artist-grade chiffon — printed or embroidered with ink landscape, bamboo shadow, and classical Chinese motifs — that happens to be used on a table. The collection draws from the New Chinese interior aesthetic: the visual language of Song dynasty ink painting, applied to a contemporary domestic surface. Each variant is a distinct design: bamboo shadows in light green, grey-blue, and jade; ink landscapes in mist blue and light brown; gradient soft tulle in lime and forest green; embroidered panels in poppy, guan guan jujiu, and poor room inscription motifs. Care & Maintenance

• Hand wash preferred — the chiffon ground is delicate; hand washing in cold water preserves the print and embroidery detail longest
• Gentle machine wash acceptable in a mesh laundry bag on a delicate cycle; cold water only
• Do not bleach — bleach will damage the ink-print motifs and weaken the chiffon ground
• Hang to dry — the chiffon ground dries quickly and gravity removes most creasing; do not tumble dry
• Iron on low heat if needed; iron on the reverse side with a pressing cloth to protect the printed or embroidered surface

Styling Tips

• Tea ceremony table — use the Bamboo Shadow (grey-blue) or Ink Landscape (mist blue) on a low tea table with a raw ceramic tea set; the semi-translucent chiffon allows the wood grain of the table to show through
• Study desk — the Poor Room Inscription embroidered panel suits a scholar’s desk with brushes, inkstone, and stacked books; the calligraphic motif is the decorative element
• Console table — drape the Gradient Lime Green soft tulle over a console table in an entryway; the gradient reads as a landscape in itself and the semi-translucent quality suits a transitional space
• Layering — layer the chiffon tablecloth over a plain linen or cotton base cloth; the semi-translucent chiffon allows the base colour to show through and creates a depth that a single cloth cannot achieve
• Length calculation — measure your table length and add 30–40 cm for overhang on each end; order the corresponding number of 1 m units and they will ship as a single continuous length
