Care & Maintenance

Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle in cold water. Do not tumble dry — remove promptly and hang on the rod while still slightly damp to allow the pleats and embroidery to settle back into shape as the fabric dries. The water-soluble embroidery motif is robust once the base has been dissolved during manufacture, but avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, which can distort the three-dimensional structure of the embroidery. Do not iron directly on the embroidered sections; if pressing is needed, use a cool iron on the reverse with a pressing cloth. Avoid bleach and optical brighteners, which can yellow the chenille pile over time. For light freshening between washes, hang in a well-ventilated space and allow the fabric to air.
